Adronsius is a Dragonborn who works for Jericho. He came to Vineyard approximately 7 years ago, as Jericho was at a crossroads. Having already infiltrated the house of Ibanov, Jericho knew that he was close to making his move. However, should this action fail to yield results, Jericho had no back-up. Jericho was well aware that one small set back could mean disaster to the entire plan.
Adronsius had a history of excellence in sculpting and has always held it as a passion. This is why Jericho approached him. The plan was to have Adronsius go up against Vineyard’s best artist in a monthly challenge to win his way into the noble’s hearts.
Unfortunately, Minerva chose less than honest methods to represent her art and won the contest yet again. Right before Adronsius was to enter his sculpture into the event, he was captured. Adronsius could have easily resisted, and possibly even escaped, but he knew in doing so his cover would be blown. The last thing he needed to be was the catalyst in ruining the Sapphire Covenant’s entire setup.
Through secret visits from various members of the Sapphire Covenant, Adronsius was able to keep up to date with the outside world. Additionally, the covenant would bring him meals and sneak him out for a trip to “Steve’s” tavern. So, Adronsius continued to play his role and sat in captivity for nearly seven years waiting for his next move.
Earlier than anticipated, Jasmine paid visit to Adronsius. She let him know that it was finally time for him to make his move. Jasmine told Adronsius about a pair of adventures she had met, Morken and Yoshinori. She let him know that these two would be the final piece of their plan’s puzzle, but had been held captive by the town’s guard along with another pair that they had met in Vineyard, Grimfield and Sindariel. Jasmine needed to have them busted out and the only feasible way without compromising everything they had worked so hard over would be to adventurers escape through a secret passage connecting Minerva’s mansion and the prison.
Adronsius was more than happy to stretch his legs and help these adventurers gain freedom. Adronsius’ direct involvement in the rescue was painstakingly put together by Jericho. Adronsius would help a young female Eladrin named Evilyn escape into a “chance meeting” with the four captives. Jericho knew that her abilities would be valuable to the success of these adventures in his plot. Adronsius lead Evilyn out of captivity and into the tunnels before sulking back to his holding area.
After his “rescue” from Minerva’s mansion, Adronsius met with Jericho, who was going by the alias Steve at the time. Adronsius posed to be looking for work, since, as Steve, Jericho just won a wine contest and needed hand to move his business into the aristocratic area of Vineyard.
They worked together awaiting the attack on Vineyard to pass and the Eldest Journal to be delivered. The attack came and went with no Eldest Journal in sight. They then realized that something did not go according to plan. It became known to the two that many members of the Sapphire Covenant were captured by Sinruth. This left Jericho thirsty for revenge.
